With gas prices constantly rising and reaching new record levels every day, everyone is feeling the pinch. After reading and hearing the countless stories of frustrated people trying to figure out a way to afford gas to get to work, and put food on the table for their families, and the extreme measures people are taking just to find a way to make it, we realized that this website was needed. Though it’s not an answer to the problem, it does give everyone a place to come together and support each other through this trying time.

We also constantly hear people complaining about the high gas prices, but no one does anything about it. Many just accept it and feel nothing can be done. One goal of GPH is to start an online petition to show the government that good people are hurting, and that something needs to be done. We’re working hard to get 1 million signatures so that we can send them along to various government officials and departments, and show them that we’ve had enough. Between the poor state of the economy, the downward spiral of the housing market, downsizing of corporate America, salary increases being little to none, and the constantly rising gas prices, Americans need relief now! We need to come together, support each other, and show our government that we are good, hard working, honest people who deserve the opportunity to make a better life for ourselves and our children.
