The purpose of this petition is to make a point to the government and big oil companies that hard working Americans are fed up with the constantly climbing price of gas, and the resulting hardships it has caused all of us. It is a great injustice when average families are scrambling just to find a way to make ends meet, while oil companies are hitting record profits which, coincidently, keep climbing right along with gas prices.

We would like everyone to take a moment to sign this petition, and help us gather enough support so that we can get some changes made to the current government policies. One voice can be ignored, but as a collective unit, we can speak together and make a strong statement which CANNOT be ignored.

Our goal is to get one million names on the petition as a starting point, and then submit them to various government officials, departments, and offices that are capable of being the catalyst for fuel price reform. We will then post their responses on our website for all to see, and continue to send in letters until the government realizes that its citizens are hurting because of the rising costs of fuel and find a means to correct the issues which led to this sad state of affairs.
